Boycs Top 3 Moments

2003

I would imagine that most who note their top 3 moments will include parts of this year an amazing one in the Banks history. My personal ones were, playing the best shot of my life a back foot drive into the top of the netting v Shahid, bowling Jones v Bret when it looked like he would knock us out on his own, giving an interview on the radio, wow a big star now!!, the Bandstand army who's support was crucial, Bedlam's "dreams", Clarkey s****** himself while batting in a Sunday twos game the week before the final when I'm pretty sure he didnt think he would be fit, thankfully he was, Jocks catch in the semi and the aftermath of the matches v Draycott and Streethouse definately the two best days of my life which I have parts of on video, thanks Funky, Bowes in tears after the Draycott game, tough Yorkshireman I dont think so! and finally a thing called adrenaline which when it flows through you really does make you feel 10 years younger.

1977

After being selected for the County U16's as an opening bowler(yes honest) and being totally innocuous in most games culminating in a spell of 25 overs 0-100 odd v Warks I was put up the batting order for a game v Shropshire and made 67* on a minefield at Kings school in Worcester. However, it was during that season I realised there would be no career in cricket for me as a scary paceman!!

2005

Batting in a Sunday twos game v Evesham with Clare when she scored 10* aged 11.
